Hunter Biden’s federal gun trial to begin today

Jury selection in Hunter Biden’s federal gun trial began Monday in Delaware.

The president’s son faces three felony charges related to his alleged illegal purchase and possession of a firearm in 2018 while he was a drug user. Hunter Biden arrived at the courthouse around 8 a.m. ET, accompanied shortly after by First Lady Jill Biden. During a late-morning break, Hunter hugged and kissed his mother, who returned his embrace. Hunter and his wife then left the room holding hands. President Biden, attending a Connecticut fundraiser, issued a supportive statement expressing pride in his son’s resilience and recovery.
